5th June - fruit thief

Oh how I wish I had a zoom lens! Just a 200mm would have been perfect for this shot, for I am sneaky, just not sneaky enough not to be noticed by our feathered thief. Shot at 55mm, this cheeky bird was having a fruity Sunday breakfast attacking a packet of grapes then flying off with a cherry. Now if i had gotten the shot of him hopping about with a cherry in his beak *that* would have been a winning picture. Still this one works. It was raining (mourn for my sunshine) so the light was low, up goes the ISO a little to 320, the lowest the f number will go at that focal length f/5.6 and a shutter speed of1/80.
